Even if the earth is spinning faster and faster in a certain sense, time is becoming a scarce commodity and bad news is coming by the hour: They still exist. The places where you can submerge yourself! Be it on a ski tour in the Grisons mountains, climbing a Granitzahn in Bergell, in the powder snow of Lenzerheide, hiking in the Beverin Park ...

The philosophy and attitude of our mountain sports school is to choose a balance between benefit and protection together with our guests. We mountain guides want to discover hidden areas with you, especially in Graubünden, face challenges and finally come home satisfied and healthy from the guided tour.

As guests, we move in an intact nature, respect its laws and peculiarities, and are allowed to experience many beautiful impressions in return.

Having grown up in the mountains of Graubünden between Flims / Laax, Ftan / Scuol and the Avers, we are deeply rooted in the region. A region that offers an immense variety of tours and courses. Freeriding on the Lenzerheide? Snowshoe tours on the Schamserberg? Ice climbing course in the Avers? Or would you prefer a solitary ski tour to the Rheinwaldhorn?
Oh yes, and then there's summer: will you come with us to the Ringelspitz, or to Vals for climbing? Or would you rather attend a high-altitude course around the Keschhütte?

Born and raised in Hohenpeißenberg, I have always had the mountains "in my eye".

After working in an office for many years, I changed my office chair for a climbing harness in 2013 and began training to become a state-certified mountain and ski guide. After three years of training, I successfully passed the state examination in 2017 and have been on the road with guests in all types of mountain sports ever since.

As a father of twins and husband, I live together with my family in Hohenpeißenberg, an ideal starting point into the mountain world of the Alps and beyond.

Welcome to my website. My name is Erdmann Käppeler and mountain guiding is more than a profession, it is a passion and a challenge at the same time.

Mountain guiding means to me to be out in the mountains with you, no matter what age or level of experience, and to make the most of the time available. It means making good decisions in order to keep the risk involved in every mountain adventure at a tolerable level. In this way, many experiences and impressions can be gathered and intensively experienced. I guarantee the best risk management through the highest alpine qualifications and constant further training.

Open and transparent communication is important to me in order to meet on equal terms. Mountain guiding means reaching the desired goal together and making dreams come true.

Rainer Treppte 

Born on 15.04.1959 in Dresden, I took my first steps on the rock at the age of 11 in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Due to the not exactly usual protection in the Saxon climbing routes, I was able to acquire the prerequisites for my later alpine successes in the following Sturm und Drang years.

I have lived in Immenstadt in the Allgäu since 1985. My profession is toolmaker. In 2010 I successfully completed my training as a state-certified mountain and ski guide. After moving to the Allgäu in 1985, I was finally able to climb big alpine routes.

In the many years of my climbing career, I have been able to fulfil some of my childhood dreams in the mountains of the world. For more than 40 years I have been travelling in the mountains without any accidents and my passion for climbing, mountaineering and skiing has a firm grip on me.
